FACESOUL
FACESOUL, born Faisal Salah, is a London-based Somali singer, songwriter, poet, and storyteller. Born in East Africa, he grew up amidst diverse cultures that have profoundly influenced both his music and his personal journey.
At the age of 19, he embarked on a journey around the world, performing for communities across various countries and cultures. Along the way, he realized that despite differences in language, culture, or background, people share the same emotions, aspirations, and stories. To this day, he views music as a form of service—a way to heal, connect, and bring people together.
His traditional Islamic roots serve as a significant source of inspiration, shaping his identity, worldview, and relationship with music. His songs explore themes of faith, humanity, vulnerability, love, loss, and the search for life's meaning.
FACESOUL is known for creating performances that are intimate, authentic, and deeply moving. Many listeners describe his concerts as a space for stillness, connection, and deep listening. For him, music is not merely entertainment; it is a path to reflection, healing, and a deeper encounter with the self.
