Two nations are at war, but in the middle of the battlefield a much more intimate drama is unfolding that may have unexpected consequences. The Egyptian princess Amneris loves the warlord Radames. However, his love belongs to the captive Aida, whom no one knows is the princess of the hostile Ethiopian country.
