Guests: Bára Basiková and Vilém Čok

Guitar virtuoso and composer Michal Pavlíček will perform tracks from his latest albums during a special concert, appearing in a trio with Martin Ivan (bass), Michal Nejtek (keyboards), and Michal Daněk (drums); the subsequent part of the show will feature primarily songs by the band Stromboli, performed by Bára Basiková and Vilém Čok.

After a year, Szidi Tobias returns to the stage of the Mahen Theater and celebrates 25 years on the music scene this year.

Szidi Tobias sings from the heart what is both expressed and hidden in the words of her husband Petr Lipovský. As she says about herself: "At concerts, I am myself and the team I want to be. Hymns and psalms about love, hope and joy. The one who understands gives us the most."

Founded by its conductor in 1939, the Karel Vlach Orchestra is the oldest big band in Europe. It is undoubtedly one of the most significant representatives of swing, jazz, dance, and popular music, having been active on the music scene continuously for 85 years.

The Christmas concert will feature the best-known Czech and international Christmas songs, including famous swing numbers from the repertoire of the legendary Glenn Miller Orchestra. The orchestra will be accompanied by the Coro Piccolo children's choir, whose rendition of Czech carols will infuse the concert with a wonderful Christmas atmosphere.
