Štěpán Markovič & Gipsy Groove

One of the most prominent Czech jazzmen, Štěpán Markovič (saxophone), accompanied by the phenomenal funky band Gipsy Groove (rhythm from Gulo Čar). Their joint album won the Anděl Award in 2003 for the best album in the world music category. Štěpán Markovič accompanied an incredible number of Czech and foreign stars. It is impossible not to mention his collaboration with Ray Charles and Liza Minnelli; he recorded an album with Bill Clinton. His project “Štěpán Markovič Gipsy Groove” brings a concrete idea of ​​the jazzman's excellent feeling for combining different musical genres.
