The Crimson Marathon

This project was created with the consent of King Crimson founder Robert Fripp exclusively for the Czech festival Prague Music Performance. The project aims to present the individual members of King Crimson in their own projects as well as in the work of this legendary group. The group tu:NER will perform at the autumn marathon. (Trey Gunn, Pat Mastelotto, Markus Reuter), StickMen (Tony Levin, Pat Mastelotto, Markus Reuter) and the David Cross Band. The year 2023 marks the anniversary of two crucial albums. While the breakthrough album Larks' Tongues in the Aspic was released fifty years ago, the group's last studio album Power To Believe was released twenty years ago. The marathon will feature a complete performance of Larks' Tongues in Aspic by the David Cross Band.
