ŠTETL FEST: Yale Strom Band

Yale Strom Band presents a unique concert inspired by the shared musical traditions of Jewish and Romani musicians from the former Subcarpathian Ruthenia, the eastern region of pre-war Czechoslovakia. Based on decades of ethnographic research, Yale Strom revives melodies that once sounded at village festivals, weddings and social gatherings. In addition to traditional pieces, original compositions inspired by these musical gatherings and memories will also be performed. The concert is included in the ticket to the Jewish Market.
