37th International Folklore Festival

The Brno International Folklore Festival has been held in the Moravian capital annually since 1990, taking place at the turn of August and September. This year, you can look forward to performances by folklore ensembles from Brno and the surrounding area, from various parts of the Czech Republic, and from abroad—specifically Croatia, Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, and Portugal. Each group will perform dedicated sets on the stage at Freedom Square (náměstí Svobody) and participate in joint programs in the New Town Hall courtyard.

On Saturday, come and see the parade of performers in traditional folk costumes through Brno’s city center. Throughout the festival, you can also visit the traditional market at Freedom Square.
