In mid-March, the movement performance Vladimír by ORBITA returns to the stage. It is a personal and artistic testimony of dancer Vladimír Kloubek, who celebrated his 80th birthday last year, featuring Kloubek as the main character of the performance and his two younger selves on one stage. The production will be staged in the large hall of Industra Brno.
"With this performance, I am saying goodbye to my great love, the stage. A place where you enter another world," says Vladimír Kloubek. He sums up his artistic work as follows: "Fulfilment, a moment of beauty, and a painful experience — each has its own magic, able to uplift as well as to wound."
The piece offers a sensitive look at the theme of memory, experience and the fickleness of the human body and mind. Through movement, it opens up questions of balance, internal dialogue and the relationship between past and present. The authors, Tereza and Lukáš Lepold, complete the character of Vladimír through his two younger selves – depicted by Michael Samuel Blašek and Theodor Lepold, thus creating a space for revisiting significant moments and dramatic experiences in the artist's life. The performance captivated the audience with its authenticity, the movement energy of the main performer and the dynamics of the interactions between the dancers. The rerun follows the successful performance, which met with a very positive response from the audience. The event will take place on 15 March at 7 p.m. in the large hall of Industra Brno.
