Fru Fru (Album Launch)
The band Fru Fru, hailing from Třebíč, returns after thirteen years with a new album. The record features eleven tracks and offers a unique encounter with both Czech and international poetry. The band has set poems by Vítězslav Nezval, František Halas, Josef Hora, František Gellner, Jan Skácel, Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin, František Ladislav Čelakovský, Zvonimir Golob, and Boris Slutsky to music. The faces of these poets also serve as the central motif of the album cover. The album was produced by Petr Ostrouchov. This release marks a musical evolution for Fru Fru, with the band itself describing it as a new chapter in their creative journey. Compared to their previous recordings, there is a greater emphasis on song structure, while the keyboards played by new member Michal Nejtek play a more prominent role in the band's new sound.
