Cabinet of Muses
Young Widows (US) + Aicher (AUS) + Ginger Wizard + Self-Immolation Music (UK)
YOUNG WIDOWS (USA)
With their unique blend of noise rock, hardcore, and post-punk, Young Widows have inspired legions of underground bands worldwide. The sound, compositions, and individual passages on their latest record, *Power Sucker*, are precisely the reason why they remain an active band even after an eleven-year hiatus.
Despite all their past successes, Young Widows approach their fifth studio album with the energy and intensity of a debut release from a brand-new band.
At its core, this is the return of three musicians sharing an enduring love for sonic artistry. Hailing from Louisville, Kentucky, this power trio performs with a signature precision and style that coalesce into a perfectly cohesive whole.
The music of Aicher is the work of Berlin-based British-Australian artist Liam Andrews, known for his role in the post-punk band MY DISCO and as a touring member of Big Brave.
GINGER WIZARD & THE PETER JACKSONS
Psychedelia, dungeon synth, prog-rock, and a love for fantasy—Ginger Wizard, originally a studio project by Radomír Szajter (ex-Pacino), has materialized into the wonderfully eclectic lineup of Ginger Wizard & The Peter Jacksons. Alongside the project's mastermind, the band features Tomáš Vondra (Orient, Tomáš Palucha), Vítek Chaloupecký (Rutka Laskier, Tomáš Palucha), Lukáš Polák (Orient), and Emil Prachař (Vole).
GROOVE BRNO: BeatRoot (SK)
BEATROOT (SK)
BeatRoot brings a sound rooted in '80s funk—but with a modern twist—to Groove Brno. Comprising experienced musicians, the Slovak band focuses on original material and a rich instrumental lineup, ranging from the rhythm section and keyboards to a horn section. Their music blends funk, jazz, rock, and gospel, driven by arrangements that combine precise structure with dynamic live energy.
Good Times Only (křest) + teige
The Prague-based band Good Times Only (GTO) is releasing its third full-length album, *Tohle mi ještě nikdy nikdo nedělal*. Unlike their previous records—*Pěkný chvíle* (2020) and *Teď na to myslim* (2023)—GTO has now embraced a path of creative and studio freedom, working without a dedicated producer. While they collaborated with Jakub Kaifosz (Lazer Viking, Wild Tides) on their first two releases, the creation of the new tracks involved only occasional production consultations with Nikola Šolaja (Kvietah, Atomy Nevadí), who otherwise serves as the mixing engineer.
Teige is an alternative-pop band based in Prague. Originally a trio, the group expanded into a five-piece ensemble and released its debut album, *květiny nonstop*, in the autumn of 2025. The record earned the band—originally from Kutná Hora—a nomination for "Discovery of the Year" at the Vinyla Music Awards and received a positive reception from music critics.
Katarzia with band
Following the release of her album *Pozvi ma, neprídem*, Katarzia is exploring her rap skills; together with her band (synths, drums, bass) and electronic wizard Aid Kid, she is preparing special arrangements that blend electronic and acoustic elements, guitar, and rap.
On her eighth studio album, she guides listeners through the next chapter of her life. A deep dive into personal doubts and an analysis of romantic relationships remain the core ingredients of this new batch of songs. Millennials—forever in a state of coming-of-age—may well recognize themselves in certain generational dilemmas, such as societal pressure to start a family or a reluctance to fully succumb to the trap known as adulthood.
LAKESIDE X + THE BRUTE (CH)
LAKESIDE X is collaborating with Daniel Myer and Depeche Mode drummer Christian Eigner on a new album and will debut a new live show featuring new tracks in Brno on October 16. The band The Brute will also perform as a special guest.
The Brute is a captivating musical project from Switzerland and Germany, founded in 2018 by singer-songwriter Daniel Gierke. The project blends progressive electronic sounds with rock energy, compelling vocals, and cinematic visuals—both in live performances and in music videos. The band fuses elements of electropop, rock, and cinematic soundscapes into a signature sound that feels both modern and deeply emotional, with a touch of the spirit of the 80s and 90s.
Ohm Square 30
The year was 1996. Producers Čechtický, Lipert, and Kleník called British singer Charlotte "Charlie One" Fairman in London, asking her to record vocals for several tracks they were working on. Fairman didn't hesitate. The album *Ohmophonica* was born—and with it, OHM SQUARE, the first band of its kind in the Czech Republic. What began as a cross-border collaboration between studios evolved into one of Prague's most distinctive electronic acts, known for blending live instruments with electronic energy and soulful vocals. "Well, a lot has changed over that time... including our music," Fairman jokes.

Their music blends elements of neo-crust, melodic punk, emoviolence, and post-rock. Their discography includes a split LP with Habak, several singles, and the full-length album *A Life of Destruction*.
Dno is a four-piece band from Orlová—featuring members of now-defunct acts such as Anne M. Christiansen, The Sin of Lilith, Toxic Run, and Rosa Parks—that also helps run the Futra club and the Provoz venue in Ostrava. They deliver a fast-paced, melodic, and urgent mix of emo hardcore and screamo. A new album is imminent!
An intense blend of emo-hardcore and atmospheric post-black metal. This Prague-based quartet explores themes of human rights and feminism within their harrowing songs about hopelessness.
DŸSE (DE) + Katastr (album launch)
DŸSE (DE) are a hurricane that demolishes stages and shatters audience expectations with a blend of noise rock, punk, performance art, and Dadaist humor. What appears at first glance to be a minimalist duo transforms live into a whirlwind of raw energy—precise, loud, and unpredictable. Their lyrics oscillate between wordplay, madness, and poetry, while the music balances on the edge between chaos and control.
Electronic music featuring live drums and a DIY ethos. Katastr consists of Tygr (C, Waawe, Night) and Sváča (Please The Trees, Slut, Veena)—two prominent figures of the Tábor DIY scene. Their collaborative project stems from the same environment that shaped their previous bands: a foundation of collective energy, experimentation, progression, and a strong emphasis on live performance.

Kafka Band
The Kafka Band has recorded three successful albums inspired by Franz Kafka’s novel fragments. This autumn, they are embarking on a tour featuring a selection of tracks from all three records: *Das Schloss* (The Castle), *Amerika*, and *Der Process* (The Trial). Audiences can look forward to a long, dark, and danceable Kafkaesque evening.
The Kafka Band is a music-and-literature project that draws upon the work of writer Franz Kafka, translating it into an alternative rock sound. The project brings together writer Jaroslav Rudiš and artist-musician Jaromír 99—creators of the cult graphic novel *Alois Nebel*—alongside guitarist and producer Dušan Neuwerth and fellow musicians Tomáš Neuwerth, Lukáš Morávek, Zdeněk Jurčík, and Petr Weiser. The lyrics are derived directly from Kafka’s writings.
Anna Vaverková + Obligatne (band/trio)
Anna Vaverková is a Berlin-based Czech singer, musician, songwriter, and producer, and a recipient of Anděl and Apollo awards. Her music straddles the line between indie pop and rock. With her latest album, *Krása* (2025, Kabinet Records), she follows up on her debut, Pozdravy z polepšovny (2023, Kabinet Records).
"The diary of a Prague girl who got stuck in Berlin for nine years without even realizing how it happened," says Anna Vaverková about the new album. Musically diverse and lyrically intimate—resembling a personal diary—the record features orchestral elements, electronic textures, and pure, authentic songwriting.
The concert will be performed by a full band—Anna Vaverková (piano, keyboards, bass guitar, lead vocals), Liam Blomqvist (guitar, bass guitar, backing vocals), and Joakim Jägerhult (drums, percussion, pads)—and will be accompanied by visuals created by Rozalie Kolková.
Už jsme doma + Chorobopop
You won’t find music quite like that of Už jsme doma anywhere—neither in the Czech Republic nor abroad. It is wildly energetic and urgent—reminiscent of punk—yet compositionally complex and meticulously crafted, featuring timeless lyrics.
Their signature sound is defined by the trumpet, vocal harmonies, and breakneck tempos, while their live shows overflow with intense energy and humor. Perhaps that is why their audience doesn't age along with them. Although the uninitiated might perceive their music as chaotic, haphazard, or improvised, the exact opposite is true. Every note and detail matters; the band operates with strict discipline, and—much like a symphony orchestra—the musicians play from a score.
Besna + Wolnera + Brizolit
A post-black metal band from Bratislava that blends black metal and post-rock with elements of Slovak history, creating a sound that is at once melancholic and intense.
Their debut album, *Zverstvá*, won the Radio_Head Award for Best Slovak Hard & Heavy Record of 2022. They subsequently released a charity single titled "Neha." In January 2025, they released the album *Krásno*, which also received an award from the Radio_Head Awards jury.
Besna captured the atmosphere of their live shows with a recording from the Brutal Assault festival in the summer of 2025. This recording was released as a live EP in the spring of that same year.
Emonight - MØNØDREAM

We have up to six stops lined up for this autumn; alongside the locations you already know well, we’re expanding into Hungary for the very first time. Join us in welcoming Budapest! We are thrilled to bring EMONIGHT to another country and grow our community beyond the borders of Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Austria.
Joining us for almost the entire tour is the fan-favorite MØNØDREAM! They are a fresh face on the local alternative scene, fronted by Martin Čupek—whom you might recognize as the frontman of John Wolfhooker.
(Don’t worry, Košice—you’ll be able to catch MØNØDREAM outside of EMONIGHT, and we’re preparing a slightly different lineup for the Budapest show). We’re also switching venues in Vienna, moving to a larger space so we can welcome even more of you. We’ll announce the presale details and the lineup for the first stop on our social media very soon.
Monolord (SWE) + Mars Red Sky (FR)
Monolord is a Swedish stoner-doom band known for massive riffs and a hypnotic, heavy atmosphere. Formed in Gothenburg in 2013, the band consists of Thomas Jäger (guitar, vocals), drummer Esben Willems, and bassist Mika Häkki. Monolord quickly rose to the forefront of the modern doom scene thanks to a string of critically acclaimed albums and relentless touring across Europe, North and South America, as well as appearances at major festivals such as Hellfest, Desertfest, Psycho Las Vegas, and Roadburn.
Their records—including *Empress Rising*, *Vænir*, *Rust*, and *No Comfort*—cemented their reputation for blending crushing stoner fuzz with metal melodies and immersive, repetitive structures. Today, Monolord ranks among the most popular acts in the heavy music scene and is embarking on a new chapter: their album *Neverending* was produced by the legendary Sylvia Massy and released via Relapse Records.
A prominent Slovak singer, songwriter, and performer with international reach, he blends modern pop with electronic elements and a darker atmosphere.
ADONXS creates contemporary, world-class pop characterized by a strong visual identity and a charismatic stage presence.

The evening’s special guest is Matt Charette, a prominent figure in the Boston DIY scene who blends punk roots with Americana and country. His songs are raw and personal, drawing on his own experiences and the life around him. Notably, this marks his first time touring Europe with his band, The Truer Sound.
DJ Kuda will be on the decks for the evening. Having made a habit of visiting every record store he encountered while touring with bands, he has built a collection rich in musical discoveries. His sets blend rocksteady, soul, and Middle Eastern music.

The legendary Japanese band Boris boasts a career spanning over 30 years, establishing them as one of the most progressive, heavy, and innovative acts in experimental music. Formed in 1992, the lineup of Takeshi, Wata, and Atsuo has played together continuously since 1996. The band has an extensive discography—with releases on labels such as Southern Lord, Sacred Bones, Hydra Head, Sargent House, and Relapse—and has collaborated with artists including Sunn O))), Melvins, Uniform, and noise master Merzbow. Boris transforms the classic proto-metal sounds of the 1970s into something entirely new and unique. Their work is hailed as a game-changer at the cutting edge of the global rock scene, and their influence is virtually boundless.
Boris (JPN, performing flood) + Planning For Burial (USA) + G.U.T.S.
An additional Boris concert has been added for November 16, 2026, at Kabinet MÚZ, featuring a special set marking the 25th anniversary of the album *Flood*!
Unlike the first concert—already sold out—where Boris will perform in Brno a day earlier to celebrate the *Pink* album, this special show will be built around the sounds of the *Flood* album. This will be the only "Boris performing *Flood*" concert of the tour to take place in Brno!
Garage Band Night
The evening will belong to garage bands.
Dukla + Anki
Dukla returns to Kabinet MÚZ after two years. Anki will perform before Dukla.

Music that kids love... and parents can actually stand!
In their more than ten years on the scene, the band Bombarďák has built a reputation as masters of the children's playlist—artists who don't talk down to their audience or dumb things down, knowing full well that even five-year-old listeners deserve quality.
It’s a children’s music phenomenon so good that you’ll end up listening to it yourself. "We’ve been playing for over a decade and we know kids are smart; above all, we want parents to have fun listening, too."
Bombarďák’s songs span a wide range of genres, featuring everything from folk, rock, and country to electronic styles like drum’n’bass and techno. And it’s not just some random experiment!
Look forward to clever humor, absurdly poetic lyrics, and catchy choruses that will stay stuck in your head for three days. Maybe even four.
The Prostitutes + Guest
The Prostitutes are a Czech indie rock band formed in Prague in 2004.
The group gained renown for a raw sound inspired by the British post-punk scene and for their energetic live performances. Their debut album, *Get Me Out Of Here* (2006), was a success; it won numerous domestic awards and helped them build a wider fan base. Their second album, *Hometown Zombies* (2009), was a major event in the music scene and remains highly regarded by successive generations of fans. Their third studio album was produced by Martin Glover—a member of Killing Joke and a collaborator with artists such as Paul McCartney, The Cult, and Depeche Mode. The band's most recent release is the site-specific album *Zum Passer* (2015), recorded in an abandoned hotel in the Ore Mountains. Their best-known tracks include "Sunshine," "Leave It Like It Is," and "Heart Of Stone." Although the band has undergone several lineup changes, it has always maintained its distinctive sound.
Magická noc + Poly Noir & The Holy Spirit Smugglers
A joint concert featuring two projects that approach darkness from opposite directions. While Jan Vozáry and the late Mejla Hlavsa transformed the dark music of The Plastic People of the Universe into caustic electronica, Poly Noir is built on the foundations of dark Americana, drawing on the legacies of Ennio Morricone, Johnny Cash, and Nick Cave.

This respected US trio made a significant impact on the underground scene with their debut, *Let Pain Be Your Guide*, blending screamo, black metal, and hardcore with inventive sonic textures. They followed up with *We Are Always Alone* and *CHRISTF*CKER*—breakthrough records that pushed the band’s genre boundaries even further, incorporating influences from industrial, post-metal, and sludge while cementing their penchant for experimentation. Portrayal of Guilt’s fearless approach subsequently transformed their sound into something akin to classical music on the *Devil Music* EP, and shifted toward EBM and gothic styles on *CHRISTF*CKER II*.
Munly & The Lupercalians (USA)
Munly & The Lupercalians return to Kabinet MÚZ on November 29th! Alongside the renowned rodeo-style show of Slim Cessna's Auto Club and its intimate counterpart, Denver Broncos U.K. (or DBUK), their arguably most acclaimed incarnation is also taking the stage.
