Nabucco

Is Verdi’s famous *Nabucco* merely an opera about a longing for freedom? Jiří Heřman’s production offers a compelling perspective on the story of the Babylonian king and the Jewish people, focusing on family relationships and King Nebuchadnezzar himself. Filled with magnificent choruses and captivating vocal parts, this opera has been one of the most popular works in our repertoire for 35 years.
