Jaromír Honzák Quintet is a jazz band led by double bassist and bassist Jaromír Honzák, an important personality of the Czech and international jazz scene. In addition to his musical activities, he also teaches jazz music at Prague's HAMU. His Quintet creates its own musical language that combines contemporary jazz with inspiration from other musical styles. The band released several albums, some of which won awards, including the Academy of Popular Music Anděl award.
