Da Cruz was formed in collaboration with a Brazilian singer Mariana Da Cruz and a Swiss music producer Ane Hebeisen. Together with their band, they combine many forms of dance music such as Electro, Afro Beat, Breakbeats, Kuduro, etc. With respect to Brazilian traditions and culture, they try to disprove “boring Brazilian clichés from postcards” and demonstrate that Brazil is not only about carnival, bikini and samba.
