a family musical based on Charles Dickens' famous novel
The famous musical adaptation of Dickens' novel Oliver Twist is a title well known even to the audience of the Brno City Theatre. It was directed by the head of our drama group, Stanislav Slovák, with the Bratislava troupe. A powerful story about children and adults who were not destined to be born into happy and hospitable conditions, it contains much that is touching, humorous and harsh. Because we all long for love and acceptance, no matter where we were born. And if even in a cruel world we find a piece of love and humanity, it is the most beautiful thing that can meet us, and why it is worth living.
