The Brno Philharmonic is entering its 68th season under the leadership of chief conductor Dennis Russell Davies, for whom this will be his sixth season at the helm of our orchestra. The opening will be spectacular: Mahler's Symphony No. 2 in C minor "Resurrection", a monumental full-length work, will be performed by the Brno Philharmonic with its chief conductor and in cooperation with the Czech Philharmonic Choir Brno and soloists Pavla Vykopalová and Jana Hrochová a month earlier at a prestigious concert in Germany Rheingau.
