BEDŘICH SMETANA 200

March 2, 2024 marks the 200th anniversary of the birth of Bedřich Smetana (1824–1884), the founder of Czech national music. The concerts that immediately precede this anniversary will offer not only the music of Smetanova, but also of two composers who significantly influenced his work: Franz Liszt and Richard Wagner.
