MOZART'S CHILDREN'S CELEBRATION CONCERT

08/06/24, 19:00

Beautiful, professional, admirable and touching at the same time. Such is always the Festival concert of Mozart's children. Why? Because not only philharmonic players play in the orchestra, but also the most talented art school students from all over South Moravia. And they are so great that you can tell by the result only visually: young people play in T-shirts, not tailcoats.
This year, as part of the Year of Czech Music, you can look forward to the works of Bedřich Smetana and especially Beethoven's Symphony No. 9.

The Mozart's Children talent festival has been organized by the Brno Philharmonic in cooperation with ZUŠ Smetanova 8 with the support of the South Moravian Region and the city of Brno for 15 years.
The goal of the project is to attract children and youth of all ages to the fantastic world of music and to give space to seasoned gifted students to perform in front of a full hall and help the little ones to find their own musical abilities and feelings, in short to discover their musical self.
