• A night serenade in a light vein by Mozart, pitting a concertante string quartet (with a double bass replacing the cello) against a small orchestra
• Robert Schumann’s last orchestral work  which suffered from a strange fate; shrouded in mystery, it was only premiered 81 years after the composer’s death
• A cycle of ten epic works from Antonín Dvořák’s “Slavonic” period, originally written for piano four hands and later orchestrated
• Celebrated German violinist Sophia Jaffé, who has repeatedly performed with the Brno Philharmonic, and a former chief-conductor of our orchestra, Petr Altrichter
