The group was founded in 1994 by musician, actor and singer Chris O'Neill based on the successful film Backbeat, in which she played the famous Beatles. The film won the British Academy Award (US Oscar counterpart) for best music.
The Beatles backbeat comes straight from Liverpool. The presentation of Beatles songs is almost identical to the original, not only musically, but also in terms of costumes and overall stage choreography.
