The four-member group from Kopřivnice was formed in 2017, a year later the first album Poníčky is released. The band writes about itself, "...that you could say that Plameny came out of the deep nineties, but there are also other influences. Beskydy melody, gloomy lyrics, stylistic variety and unconventional playing style. In other words; Janáček, Bezruč, the Beskydy landscape, an untrained approach and a desire to experiment." Simply put, they are a post-punk band. This spring, they released their new album "Herostratus", with which they will present themselves at the Brno Music Marathon.
