Music Marathon 2023 I Julia Kozáková & Manuša

The talented Slovak singer Julia Kozáková will also perform on the Django stage. Together with dulcimer music, Manuša will introduce the audience to old Roma songs from Slovakia. Júlia Kozáková already dedicated herself to singing Slovak folk songs in her childhood. Later, she discovered the beauty of Central European Romani music and began to work purposefully with Romani musicians. She also gained a lot of experience in Ida Kelarová's Čhavorenge choir. And top Roma musicians accompany her on her new album, which bears the same name as the dulcimer music - Manuša. For their music, they even jointly won the Radio Head Award for the best Slovak world music 2022.
