Music Marathon 2023 I Žamboši

The imaginary stars of the singer-songwriter scene are Žamboši. The three-piece band was formed in 2002 and consists of a guitarist, an accordionist and a percussionist. In terms of genre, they can be classified as folk with rock and alternative overtones. For their work, they won three Anděl awards in the folk category - in 2006, 2009 and 2018. With their original music, they represent the direction of all Czech folk. It is a direction emotionally strained, visceral, masterfully played, not afraid of experiments with loops and samples.
