MALALATA has been on the scene for 17 years and is synonymous with a unique fusion of Balkan beats, gypsy music, reggae and world music. A pair of Slovak DJs combine these rhythms into distinctive sets, which they complement with an unrestrained and contagiously energetic performance. Under the baton of MALALATA, not only clubs all over Europe, but also in distant Japan or Mexico pulsated. With their show, the duo danced at the Colors of Ostrava, Pohoda, Grape, Uprising festivals and performed on the same stage with aces such as Parov Stelar, Goran Bregović, Shantel, Mahala Rai Banda and Fanfare Ciocarlia.
