Works from three centuries will be played at the chateau in Velké Meziříčí. F. X. Richter composed the first ever string quartet in the 18thcentury. The19th century will be documented by the third of the Russian Quartets, with which Beethoven scandalised his devoted Viennese audience, while the 20th century will be represented by a work composed by Ivana Loudová, who has brought together her experiences of Janáček’s native Hukvaldy in a graceful quartet.
