Josef Suk: String Quartet No. 1 B flat major Op. 11
Beethoven’s little-played fifth quartet and a work by Josef Suk will be played together in the Ceremonial Hall at the Rájec Chateau. The young husband and happy father incorporated the melody of the lullaby Spi, děťátko (“Sleep, baby”) into his first work for the Czech Quartet, in which he played the violin.
