Ludwig van Beethoven: Great Fugue B flat major Op. 133

The young Miloslav Ištvan Quartett will perform the premiere of a new work by Slavomír Hořínka with a Shakespearean theme, which will contribute to the lustre of this year’s festival, as well as compositions by Miloslav Ištvan and Jan Novák. The counterpart to the modern compositions will be the Grosse Fuge which Beethoven left as a conundrum for performers and audiences of future generations.
