William Shakespeare, the literary patron of this year’s festival, will be most noticeably present at the Brno Monastery of Mercyful Brothers during a lecture on the topic of “Shakespeare and music” given by Professor Martin Hilský and the Korngold Quartet’s subsequent program consisting of the Shakespeare compositionsof Erich Wolfgang Korngold, a native of Brno and the winner of two Oscars.
