The young Slovenian vocal Ingenium Ensemble focuses not only on the perfect beauty of vocal polyphony, clean lines and a capella singing. The early medieval text In the Midst of Life We Are in Death as the motto of the program evokes the idea of the transience of human life, which was the central theme of the masters of supreme Renaissance polyphony.
