SKETY is a Czech, Prague-based six-member jazz a-cappella group made up of professional singers and musicians that has just released their debut album. The group won the prestigious Ward Swingle Award at the international competition Vokal.Total in Graz, Austria in 2015 and used the opportunity to cooperate on their first album with international artists including the Grammy-winning Californian sound designer Bill Hare, former member of the Swingle Singers Tobias Hug and Italian composer, singer and producer Erik Bosio (Cluster). SKETY not only have original and jazz standard compositions in their repertoire, but are a versatile group writing and performing arrangements of pop hits as well as recording ad hoc studio sessions for film or CDs of solo singers.
Skety are a well-established group on the Czech festival and club scene. They have also performed at the London A Cappella Festival in 2014, Fool Moon A Cappella Festival in Hungary, 2014 and at the Bodensee festival in Konstanz, Germany, 2014. They have also been invited to do a concert tour in Taiwan in 2016 and to join two jazz festivals in Tasmania also in 2016. For this year they are preparing a dedicated a cappella festival of their own in Prague.

Ondrej Ruml is a versatile musician and singer, who became well known with his successful participation in the singing competition X – FACTOR, where he impressed the public with his talent and finished second.
Ondřej released albums Metamorphosis (2010) and Ondřej Ruml Sings Ježek, Voskovec and Werich (2014). The latter he recorded with one of the leading local jazz groups Matej Benko Quintet with very positive reactions from both critics and the public. The album received a Golden Record award. Ondřej is not afraid to stand alone in front of the audience, or just supported by a looper that can stack multiple layers of his voice to several parallel tracks and thus create an illusion of a vocal ensemble. However, Ondřej feels at least equally as comfortable in the presence of his accompanying band led by Matej Benko, a great pianist but also an original composer and skilled arranger.
