JFB: Concert of department of jazz interpretation JAMU (CZ / SK)

Although the Jazz Department of JAMU has been active for just six years, it boasts not only excellent teaching staff, headed by David Dorůžka, Matúš Jakabčic, Lubomír Šrámek, Rostislav Fraš, Jiří Slavík, Jiří Levíček, Jan Jirucha and Juraj Bartoš, but also very talented students. The fourth concert presentation of the department at the festival will feature several small bands and even a big band, and this all comes despite the fact that the department consists of just a bit more than a mere two dozen students.
Uninformed listeners might expect an anonymous student band of rather dubious quality, but if you look closely at who will be performing, you will find mature jazz ensembles, often even presenting original music. We are looking forward to hearing some of the exemplary students, such as Lukáš Oravec, Radek Zapadlo, Jaromír Honzák and others.
