And here it is! VDYD (formerly Voodooyoudo) will baptize its new record Carousel in the Cabinet at the beginning of March, which is also being released physically on clear vinyl in these copies in 100 copies under the heading Kabinet records.
Few Czech bands can be consistently and truthfully claimed for such a long time to be independent music of an international format. VOODOOYOUDO (VDYD for short) have been on the scene for seventeen years, and their place in the top three of the indie-rock peloton has not yet been threatened. The release of their debut album "Carousel" can therefore be considered a major musical event.
VDYD is an indie post-rock guitarist. As a boy band of obsessed models, they disassembled musical instruments and created a concept in which guitar arpeggios and eccentric synths of the surface roll on a dense rhythmic corpus with melodic bass. Delighted by the 1990s, they float through the guitar waves of the present.
The gala evening will also belong to the label-friendly SCIENCE KILLER. Who are finishing their work on a new, second, record these days. Drones, psychedelic, blues, noise, everything ... Science Killer takes the most important bands like Spacemen 3, The Brian Jonestown Massacre or Moon Duo to take you on a relaxed motorbike ride to the corners of your imagination.
And that's not the end of it! Wednesday night will be a big party! And DJ Roman Reich ('70s, boogie, house, techno etc.) and DJ Trick (house, techno etc.) will take care of that.
