one of the most prominent names of Czech sludge metal is returning with a new, third album after almost twelve years of silence. The cult-covered GOSPEL OF THE FUTURE is released on February 18, 2022 by Kabinet Records LP under the title "Blowtorch Mankind". On the new GOTF material, they continue the tradition of uncompromising sludge metal intoxication and total fascination with slow hypnotic rhythms. Expect a sonic trip into detail depicting the deafening world of darkness doomed. The band, despite the decade-long break, serves their creative and uncompromising heavy sludge metal live.
The special guest of the evening will be the legendary Dave Curran, bassist UNSANE and concert sound engineer of such names as Melvins and High on Fire. In the Cabinet, Dave will perform in three roles - the godfather of the album, the sound engineer and mainly will perform with his new band Baratro. This noiserock trio from Milan, where Dave lives monetaryly, naturally follows the tradition of all his previous bands and the sound of Amphetamine Reptile Records.
The whole evening will be opened by the Viennese trio Desolat, which has a long-standing friendship with GOTF and will delight lovers of Gothenburg death metal guitars and uncompromising sludge and noise rock stubbornness.
