THE PACK A.D. (CAN) + E (US)

The Pack A.D. (CAN, network)
The energetic music of the duo Maya Miller and Becky Black hides behind the self-constructed label franken-blend of heavy psych-pop / garage-rock. Canadians The Pack A.D. makes contagious, explosive, guitar music. The innovatively transformed influences of the traditional approach to blues or country shrouded in contemporary, garage garb, in addition to their international reputation and devoted fan base, also earned them a comparison to The White Stripes and a place under the Nettwerk label, where in addition to Pack A.D. they also published MF Doom, The Perfume Genius and Sinnead O’Connor. Rumors are circulating around the world that the album It Was Fun While It Lasted is supposed to be the last act of this unique pair. Therefore, it is not recommended to consider another option on The Pack A.D. to go.

E (USA, Thrill Jockey / Silver Rocket)
Anyone who has visited Thalia Zedek's recent concert in the Cabinet knows that what this artist touches is worth it. An influential member of Come, Uzi or Live Skull in a band with a cryptic (and untraceable) note, E collaborates with Gavin McCarthy of the now legendary Karate and Jason Stanford of Neptune. Energetic, hypnotic, authentic work with the guitar and an absurdly well-coordinated rhythm section are the pillars from which the unmistakable music of E. grows. The well-thought-out and progressive music of this musically mature trio draws in and doesn't let go.
