The rap duo Lobbyboy&saab900turbo is made up of the performer Kateřina Konvalinová and the sculptor Erika Velická, and their work reflects not only a strong visual imprint, but especially painful experiences. "Old guys have been reaching under my panties since I was twelve, and I have to keep hearing that girls are whores," Velická raps in the song called Dva. It is their harsh and raw life statements that rank them among the greatest discoveries of the domestic rap scene," says Beseda Kač Fišer, dramaturg of the Beseda festival, about the duo. This year they released their second EP Macocha, the sound of which was signed by Jan Majer (Císařpancíř, Bezbolestná, Nusle Sound System).

Fast and furious as the times demand. Pavla Bastlová's project caught the current hyperpop wave, but jumped on it in a space suit of other genres. Folk echoes (perhaps a trace of the musician's guitar beginnings) and testing the possibilities of experimental electronics especially stand out live, when Bastlová varies existing compositions and remelts them into unexpected shapes. In them, the engulfment of sensations and the effort to resist them meet. Even driving with the brakes on can be quite frantic.
