DELTA SLEEP (UK)
British progressive guitar group Delta Sleep has been pushing the boundaries of math-rock for 13 years. Thanks to specific rhythms and unconventional structures, their work skilfully balances on the edge of indie-rock, post-hardcore, emo and math-rock. In addition, Delta Sleep constantly surprises their listeners by constantly improving and perfecting their distinctive sound.
In the summer of 2020, Delta Sleep locked themselves in Grouse Lodge Studio in Ireland to work on their third track, Spring Island. The album deals with the topics of global warming and the impact of human behavior on our planet. This concept album perfectly blends bleak lyrical content with uplifting and captivating melodies. For Delta Sleep, the album Spring Island is the culmination of all the active years as musicians, when they have been perfecting their craft and pushing their own boundaries in songwriting.
