DAYS (BAPTISM)

His album These Semi Feelings, They Are Everywhere came as a revelation, and Ondřej Holý aka dne has never completely disappeared since 2016, when the album was released, even though we won't see another lineup until this June. The album Basic Living has already announced the single Traps in My Feet, on which the Slovak producer FVLCRVM is a guest, and which confirms that the day remains at home in the field of ultra-fragile, introverted and increasingly benign ambient electronica, which does not fall asleep, but on the contrary, dawns. "The last thing I want is for people to be sad about my music," he says in a recent interview with c-heads. The new album will bring the best evidence. Let's rejoice.

SMOKE

You could register Dým music, for example, on the sampler Sing Sing Soundsystem Vol. 3, the Prague-Berlin collective is just as happy to cooperate as it is to blurt out who is doing this and who is doing this. And these are the people around illustrator LBK. We recommended the debut EP with words about sound and mood that fluctuate beautifully and familiarly, like the emotions of poorly prescribed psychopharmaceuticals. The wilder the afterparty, the harder it is to escape into dreams and you have to experience them in a (semi)awake state. Music on the border between force and evasiveness, postpunk arising from anxieties. "Falling asleep harder than getting out of a warm bath."
