TOMÁŠ PALUCHA (KŘEST) + KURVY ČEŠI + KULT MASEK

26/09/23, 20:00

The stalwart of Czech meditative rock TOMÁŠ PALUCHA is releasing a new album on the Day After label in autumn, and the Brno baptism will take place in the Cabinet of the MÚZ. Special guests will be KURVY CZEŠI and KULT MASK.

TOMÁŠ PALUCHA (BAPTISM)
Tomáš Palucha is a group of Libor Palucha and Jan Tomáš (with a record in the bands Repellent SS, Kovadlina, Thema 11 or Mother) and added by other members – this time Vítek, drummer Rutko Laskier, Ette Enak and Tomáš Vondra behind the Prague bands Orient and Lavra. The debut LP Guru Radio Wave called it the best Czech album of 2016. The second record, called Čaro, was released in 2018 and was released by the Day After publishing house. Although TP's music is built on rock foundations, the ambient surfaces and the changing structure of the songs and the band give their music a meditative character.

CZECH WHORES

The group with the quirky name Kurvy Češi plays even more quirky speedy acid hardcore punk. They made their debut only in 2021 with the album We Are Family, which they released on the label Stoned To Death Records, but the band is made up of proven characters from, for example, Vole, Láska a prěstravstvo, Vlněna or Ghettoblaster.

CULT OF MASKS

Melancholy of analog modular. Michael Nechvátal from Raw Deal, the noise project Jasnovidec and the duo Kult Koruth (which he forms with musician Anna Ruth) has a great solo project Kult Masek.
