DIVIDE AND DISSOLVE (AUS)
Saxophone, guitar and drums. Australian drone-doom-metal duo Divide and Dissolve consists of Takiaya Reed (guitar, saxophone) and Sylvie Nehill (drums). In 2021, they released the famous album Gas Lit on the Invada Records label, which subsequently garnered recognition across the alternative music scene (not only metal). This was followed by touring with Low or playing at the legendary Roadburn festival. Gas Lit is already the third album of this distinctive duo, who manage to work with hard and heavy guitars similar to Big Brave or The Body, but in their own unique way.

Divide and Dissolve will arrive in Europe for the autumn tour with the new line-up Systemic, which will be released at the end of June. She examines the current systems that bind us and calls for a system that will make life easier for everyone. It's a message that aligns with the band's core purpose: to make music that honors their ancestors and country of origin while standing up against white supremacy. Anyone who was at the Underdogs' club in Prague last year knows what to expect. Those who haven't been, have a unique opportunity to enjoy the Brno premiere of the world-renowned Divide and Dissolve, which will take place on September 28 in the Cabinet of the Museum of Arts and Sciences.
