WHYOHWHY (Baptism)

The minimalist music of the Brno five-piece whyohwhy is based on a novel approach to vocals and collective work for the benefit of the overall sound. The group moves between many genres and inspirations, the most dominant of which are, for example, slowcore or dream-pop. Decadent lyrics alluding to the pitfalls of life in a patriarchal late-capitalist society are underlined by natural and mythological motifs. The debut album Bruises is released on February 13, 2024 under the DayAfter Records banner.

ORIENT

Originally, the Prague band Orient started as a trio exploring the current electronic scene, but over the years they gradually switched to a more traditionally playing band with live instruments including brass, percussion or old synthesizers, already with four members. In 2022, they released the Orient LP "Redwood", which brings with it changes in both the line-up and the style. The peculiar formation went through personnel changes, and welcomed Patrik Šafránek to the post of drummer. Ondřej Šponer took care of the bass on the recording, but he was replaced by Andrea Rottin in the live line-up.

NANO

Nano is an indie electro pop quartet that combines rock'n'roll energy and strong melodies with a melancholic touch into a unique musical experience. It got together in 2010 and since 2011 has been moving around Czech clubs. Nano's concerts are an energetic combination of various guitar and electronic music influences with an unexpectedly authentic sound. In 2012, the band released the album "2am Bedroom Songs" with the single Sober, in 2016 the album Is This Art? under the production supervision of Jiří Burian. The band has found its own unique indie pop sound and can absorb live. After the concert, covid and maternity break, the album Night in a Fever will be released in 2023. The new record is musically more varied than ever before. Has everything already happened? Error. The rock'n'roll energy remains, the strong melodies have developed, the party continues.
