HACKEDEPICCIOTTO (DE/USA)

The music and life partner duo Alexander Hacke and Danielle de Picciotto will bring the new album Keepsakes dedicated to the theme of "friendship" to the Cabinet of the MÚZ under the banner HACKEDEPICCIOTTO. Experimental and dreamy avant-garde with echoes and noises of industrial is released on 28.7. on the Mute Records label. If your favorites include Dead Can Dance, Suicide, Low or Arvo Pärt, mark the date in your diary.

The musical life of Alexander Hacke (DE) is primarily associated with the bass of the legendary Einstürzende Neubauten. He presented himself in Brno, for example, with the project The Ministry Of Wolves, where, in addition to Danielle de Picciotto, he played together with Mick Harvey (ex-Nick Cave & Bad Seeds) or Paul Wallfisch (ex-Swans). Of course, Hacke is responsible for many times more. In addition to Neubauten and solo work, he collaborated with, for example, The Tiger Lillies, Crime & the City Solution, Wovenhand and dozens of others. His signature bass guitar defines a number of songs he has composed or contributed to.

In the HACKEDEPICCIOTTO project, Hacke's accomplice is Danielle de Picciotto (USA). Washerwoman, musician, filmmaker and founder of the first Berlin Love Parade, who sang with Anita Lane, Nick Cave or Kid Congo Powers and became a member of Crime & The City Solution. She also collaborated with Gudrun Gut, who was active in Einstürzende Neubauten. Because everything is connected to everything, the circle was closed with the marriage of Danielle de Picciotto to Alexandre Hack and thanks to this the HACKEDEPICCIOTTO project was born.
