LAKE MALAWI
Indie-pop band Lake Malawi embarks on a club tour to mark ten years since its formation. The lineup of Albert Černý (vocals, guitar), Jeroným Šubrt (bass guitar), Jan Uvira (keyboards), David Kandler (guitar) and Pavel Plašil (drums) will be enriched by singer Dominika Hašková from the band We Are Domi as a special guest.
The band has not done its own club tour since 2020. Since then, songs from The Great Video Game Crush (2022) album such as High-Speed Kissing inspired by the sound aesthetics of the eighties have been added to their concert setlist. The current five-piece line-up, synchronized lights and new repertoire promise an energetic show. In addition to the successful representation of the Czech Republic in the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 with the song Friend of a Friend, Lake Malawi, they performed at important festivals such as Colors of Ostrava, Rock for People, The Great Escape or Waves Vienna and played over 300 concerts, including pre-jumping Thirty Seconds to Mars, The Kooks and singer Mike.
