FRANKIE & THE DEADBEATS

Nomads with roots both in the Czech countryside and in American Nashville honor and skillfully combine classic American country music with the wildness of their hearts. The stories that, in addition to the wrinkles on their faces, are also imprinted on their souls, he conveys with the help of his dark songs to the listeners, who will embrace them and never let go.

They appear on the scene in 2021 and that's right with their first long-playing record The Shining. Exactly two years later, they release their second regular album called The Possibility That Love Is Not Enough. Banjo, trumpet, piano, these are also elements that push their approach to country music a step further.

From popular locales, through leading Czech festivals, to two acoustic tours in the USA. Frankie & The Deadbeats are at home wherever their travels take them and where a wistful pedal steel guitar sounds in the distance.

Luke Lecheler (USA)
He spent years touring the US and abroad, sharing songwriting and playing lead guitar with the raucous twang-punk band The Right Here and keyboards with Midwestern orthodox rockers Nato Coles & The Blue Diamond Band. He's a familiar face at The Fest in Gainesville, Pouzza Fest in Montreal, and just returned from Europe where he played organ at Manchester Punk Fest with punk rock stalwarts The Slow Death. Even in his travels, Luke always remains faithful - musically and geographically - to his home in Minneapolis. The tracks on The Right Here's latest full-length album, Northern Town, were aptly described by Scene Point Blank as "Replacements fans coming together to write songs inspired by Uncle Tupelo, Lucero and Bruce Springsteen". As a solo artist, Luke also turns to folk singing icons such as John Prine and Todd Snider, while maintaining the punk rock ethos of his rock'n'roll peers such as Arliss Nancy and Two Cow Garage. His solo performances include versions of his songs from The Right Here as well as previously unreleased acoustic-folk originals. He is currently writing solo material, recording a new studio album with The Right Here and planning a tour of the Czech Republic in June 2023.
