DOOUŠEK - poetry in cotton jazz folk.
The Brno band Dooušek enriches written poetry from the feathers of Czech and foreign poets with a new, musical dimension. In terms of genre, he freely uses elements of folk, Latin American music and blues. He leans toward acoustic music backed by an electric guitar.
Singer Marie Vrbová carries the music of guitarist Jirka Vrba with an unusual alto. The melodic line and atmosphere are underlined by a tenor saxophone and a transverse flute by Radek Přibyl. Grund holds drums performed by Pavel Jaroš and double bass by Pavel Horák.
The band has been giving concerts since 2019, in 2021 they released their debut album "Before I Go Out", they actively performed on more intimate stages and sometimes it can be heard on the Proglas radio in Milan Tesař's show.
