Miñtenkér is a band from Prague playing Jewish, Roma and other folk music of the Carpathian region in a relatively traditional line-up from the beginning of the 20th century. Miñtenkér was created as a joint project of musicians from the bands Der Šenster Gob and Vousy, some of whom picked up a different musical instrument than usual for fun. Violin, clarinet, violin counter, dulcimer, double bass and five voices, or a hundred-year-old Jewish wedding in a remote Carpathian pub as painted. Cheers.
