▶️ Žofie Kabelková
Czech singer-songwriter who has been active on the local music scene for more than 20 years. He is currently finishing a long-in-progress third album with producer Matěj Porteš. But she has already accumulated songs for a possible fourth album. From autumn 2020 to spring 2021, she filmed twenty original home videos for herself and her fans - as a boost to unreadable times.
In her texts, Žofie currently deals primarily with interpersonal relationships. They echo the themes of family, (un)certainty, reconciliation, trust and inner freedom. A deep connection with nature also oozes perceptibly from her songs. She performed hundreds of concerts in clubs and festivals throughout the Czech Republic and abroad. Her album Peřiny z vody (2009), produced by Stanislav Palúch, was nominated for the Anděl Award in the folk category.
Kabelková's work "is an example of Czech folk - at least in the case of the most interesting personalities - stepping out of the artificial ghetto" (Ondřej Bezr, music critic, 2010, review of the Peřiny z vody album). "Way above the cliché 'girl with a guitar', her songs have flair and an idea" (Václav Müller, organizer of the Hradec solstice, 2020).

▶️ Martina Trchová
Songwriter, singer, guitarist, author of distinctive songs, but also an artist. She has already released three albums and for the last one (Holobyt, 2016) she won the Anděl award. Her work boldly crosses the boundaries of genres, from folk to blues, indie-pop, jazz. In her singing, she moves between fragility and forcefulness with a hip-hop cadence, and in her lyrics she can be harshly self-questioning, but also playful and smiling.
