▶︎ Ba:zel
Ba:zel is a witchwave duo consisting of Ewelina Vlček Chiu and Daniel Vlček. Active since 2014, the duo has traversed a number of unique genres such as experimental ASMR-electropop (eye draw(y) the line LP), neoclassical dark-wave (Scene 7 EP) to witch-wave (WE LP) . In the project, Daniel plays drum pad, drum machine, bass guitar and vocals, and Ewelina plays synthesizer, soprano flute and vocals. Over the years, ba:zel has managed to strike a balance between dark, heavy bass and beats and soaring, emotionally charged vocals. In addition to extensive touring in Europe and Canada, ba:zel has collaborated with countless artists, performers and filmmakers. After three years of silence since the last release, ba:zel came out with the second consecutive WE album at the end of 2022. Released on the Prague label XION, MY is a manifesto for troubled times. Written before the pandemic, but released after WE continues to tell the story of a world still burning.

▶︎ Carya
A duo from Uhersko-Hradiště moving on the border between electronics and guitar alternatives, whose sound is characterized by synth surfaces and dreamy double voices. With their work, Carya loosely follows on from the earlier, more acoustic project MIMO. At the end of last year, the pair released their atmospheric debut Tales for Z, inspired by literary but also personal stories.
