Folklore is dead. It did not die yesterday nor did it die a week ago. It has been dead for ages in spite of the best efforts of publicly displaying and worshipping its decorated and embalmed corpse in the pursuit of convincing many of its immortality. When in reality it had been six feet under long before it became the subject of newfound interest. Its death, however, has not been in vain. On the fertile soil of its remains postfolklore is born. This album pays homage to all that is dead for there is no life without death.
