The seven-piece Dutch band Son Mieux makes the kind of music we need these days: dance pop with disco influences and big gestures. Rich arrangements like from the seventies with personal stories and modern production.

Their second album, The Mustard Seed, was released at the end of 2021 and is garnering high reviews all around. It even won the Edison Award (Dutch Grammy) for best album and has already collected over 15 million streams. With over 20 million streams, the single 'Multicolor' became the number 1 radio airplay in the Netherlands for weeks, and as the biggest song of the Dutch festival season that year, showed that the band's star was still on the rise.

But where these seven really shine is on stage with energetic, well-arranged shows where emotion runs high and dancing is key. No wonder the band has been booked over 45 times this summer and sold over 25,000 tickets in 2022 alone. With their first European headline act last fall and playing festivals across Europe, one of which is the Montreux Jazz Festival, the band have made sure they are ready to take their music abroad. This year he is criss-crossing Europe. In the summer, they disarmed the audience at Sziget in Hungary.

Son Mieux consists of Camiel Meiresonne, Maud Akkermans, Quinten Meiresonne, Olivier Lucas, Justin Schellekens, Timo Prins & Niels de Maa.
