A boy from the Bohunice housing estate who felt that he was losing his way in life and that the world around him was literally disappearing before his eyes - therefore he tries to build his own, full of harmony and colors. In this space, he creates an imaginary character named Jay Delver, who becomes the subject and protagonist of future musical stories.
Jakub and his vision were gradually surrounded by idiosyncratic artistic personalities, when each of them gave slightly more concrete outlines to the illusory ideas. After years of experimentation, the band found themselves in the sound of alternative pop with a whole range of soul, funk and rock influences, from Billy Joel to Elton John to Harry Styles.
In recent years, Jay Delver has collected the most powerful concert experiences - all of them can be cited as performances at the Mendel Festival, Groove Brno, Besed u Bigbít or Hradecky Solstice. There has already been an expansion outside the Czech Republic, specifically at the Nisville Jazz Festival in Serbia and a concert for the Czech Center in Paris, which they visited thanks to their first place in the Jazzfruit competition.
This year, together with Jay Delver, you can look forward to, for example, the Metronome festival, and also expect the release of several singles, which are already being prepared to be sent to the world.
