On Friday 21st of July a concert of the band Swing Strings will take place on Brno's dam. The frontman of the band is virtuoso violinist Roman Oračko living in Germany. Of course he likes to come back to Brno once in a while so you can see and hear him on our local stages. During the past few years, he's been collaborating with Brno based gutarist and singer Jan Čarek and other Brno swing musicians. The project Swing Strings connects classic French gypsy jazz with American be bob, as Django Reinhardt did in the second half of his career. You can look forward for a mixture of original arrangements, wild rhythms and gentle ballads.
